Role: Payroll Support Specialist

Location: Essen, Germany, on-site

Employment type: Contract

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the team with managing inquiries and resolving issues related to payroll.
• Handle first-level support tickets and respond to employee questions via email, phone, and in person.
• Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
• Communicate effectively and promptly with employees to address concerns and prevent misunderstandings.
• Take responsibility for managing escalations and promoting a positive work environment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Native or fluent in German (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication, as well as English fluency.
• Strong negotiation abilities and high empathy, with the ability to remain calm and solution-focused in challenging situations.
• Customer-oriented mindset, always striving to find optimal solutions.
• Strong logical thinking and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and collaborate as part of a dedicated team.
