  • Start your day with a job or pleasant walk in one of Kraków’s many beautiful parks. Grab some traditional Polish breakfast like Pierogi, which are dumplings filled with different types of ingredients, like potatoes and cottage cheese, or sausage. Top them off with a local Polish tea, or herbal teas like Czarna Porzeczka (blackcurrant) or Lipa (linden) that are also quite popular.

  • Visit a local restaurant or a milk bar. Krakow has a wide variety of local restaurants and traditional milk bars (Bar mleczny) that serve affordable, hearty, and authentic Polish cuisine. These places are often run by the city, have relatively low prices, and are a great place to try traditional Polish dishes. Krakow has a lively street food scene, you can find a variety of street food vendors offering different types of food such as kielbasa, zapiekanka and Langos, a deep-fried dough with various toppings.

  • Enjoy a traditional Polish beer. Krakow has a long history of brewing beer, and you can find many local breweries and pubs that offer traditional Polish beers such as Tyskie and Okocim, while enjoying the company of friends and locals. The city has a variety of bars and clubs that cater to different tastes and styles, from traditional Polish pubs to modern nightclubs. Some popular nightlife areas include Kazimierz, the Jewish Quarter, and the Main Square.

  • Enjoy the beautiful natural landscape surrounding Kraków. The Tatra Mountains are located about an hour and a half drive from Krakow and they offer many outdoor recreational opportunities such as hiking, skiing and paragliding. The Ojcowski National Park is located about an hour's drive from Krakow. Visitors can hike through the park and see the beautiful limestone cliffs, caves, and underground rivers.
