Position: Health and Safety Inspector
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize, coordinate, and monitor prevention and protection activities in line with the Labor Code and the Health and Safety at Work Act.
Conduct regular on-site inspections of offices, common areas, and technical spaces.
Coordinate with the Occupational Health & Safety Service Provider and deliver introductory, periodic, and on-the-job safety trainings in accordance with Ordinance No. RD-07-2/2009.
Prepare, update, and ensure visibility of evacuation and fire safety plans together with fire safety service providers.
Organize employee trainings and evacuation drills.
Monitor fire detection and alarm systems, hydrants, fire extinguishers, and emergency signage.
Inspect hydrants and fire extinguishers and ensure timely periodic checks and annual renewals.
Ensure compliance with the Law on Fire Safety and Civil Protection.
Maintain all company First Aid Kits, including timely replacement of expired medications and consumables in line with Ordinance No. 3/1987.
Ensure compliance with Labor Code Art. 287 and Ordinance No. 3/1987 regarding mandatory medical examinations.
Organize and track periodic measurements of air quality, humidity, and workplace conditions together with the occupational health service.
Carry out joint inspections with external providers to confirm proper execution of safety measures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar health and safety role.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Strong PC literacy.
Relevant higher education degree.
Solid knowledge of Bulgarian legislation, including the Labor Code, Health and Safety at Work Act, Law on Fire Safety and Civil Protection, Ordinance No. RD-07-2/2009, Ordinance No. 3/1987, and Ordinance No. 3/2004.
