Gaming Equipment Technician - Bogota, Colombia

About the role.
We are looking for a hands-on Gaming Equipment Technician to support the maintenance, installation, and technical performance of gaming machines and related equipment. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with hardware, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Position: Gaming Equipment Technician

Location: Bogota, Colombia

Employment type: Full-time

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform maintenance, verification, and repair of gaming equipment and related subassemblies

  • Support all service and technical requirements related to gaming machines and equipment performance

  • Read, interpret, and analyse technical data recorded by gaming equipment

  • Install, move, and configure gaming machines as required.

  • Provide technical guidance and consultancy related to equipment operations.

  • Safely operate workshop tools including hand tools, soldering equipment, and electronic testing devices

  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to completed technical operations

  • Act as a technical representative when liaising with relevant gambling authorities

  • Follow established technical policies, procedures, and operational standards

  • Contribute ideas to improve repair processes, safety standards, and equipment security.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fluent at native level in Spanish (C1), advanced English (B2) proficiency with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar technical or hardware-focused role.

  • Comfortable working with hardware tools, power equipment, and electronic components.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
